What is Holdstill?
Holdstill is a client gallery platform for professional photographers, hosted in Europe. You import your finished JPEGs, review them in a draft gallery and deliver only the images you approve, in a gallery that carries your colours and your look. Your clients open a private link, with an access code if you want one, and need no account. Holdstill also prepares your social content and, when a project calls for it, albums and prints. It is published by LES HISTOIRES D'A., a French photography company founded in 2024 in Brittany. You can start on a free plan; paid plans are billed in euros.
Does Holdstill develop my RAW files?
Not today. Holdstill works with finished JPEGs: you edit in your usual tool, then import, review and deliver here. RAW development through a retouching provider is on our roadmap.
Why do I approve every image?
A finished treatment is not an approved image. Only the images you approve enter the published version of the gallery.
Can I deliver without selling anything?
Yes. Albums and prints are enabled project by project. A gallery without sales shows no shop.
How long are my files kept?
You set retention per file type and are told before every deadline.
Does Holdstill post on my social networks?
No. Holdstill prepares and exports the files; you share them yourself. Creating or exporting content is not publishing it.
Do my clients need an account?
No. A private link is enough, with an access code if you want one.
